Marco Petrus donates a work to the Triennial

On the occasion of Expo 2015, and following his recent solo show at the Triennial – Atlas, thirty paintings about possible architectural geographies for the “ideal city”, exhibited in what is considered to be the temple of international architecture – Marco Petrus will be donating to this Milanese institution one of his “reconstructions” of the historical building of the Palazzo dell’Arte, designed in 1933 by the architect Giovanni Muzio. The work, titled Upside Down (2014, oil on canvas, 80 x 60 cm.) will be consigned on Monday 22 June at 5 p.m. during a meeting open to the press; there will be speeches by Marco Petrus himelf, Claudio De Albertis, the president of the Fondazione Triennale, and by Andrea Cancellato the director of the Fondazione Triennale.
